1st Video is presented by UC San Diego and demonstrates how music can help cancer patients in recovery and while they go through treatment. Within the video there are several studies that are outlined proving the thesis.
2nd Video is the method of delivery for music that seems to work best while treating cancer. The video was produced by the Children's Medical Center in Dallas, TX and shows a nurse playing an acoustic instrument for a high-spirited child who appears to be having a great time. This video will be relevant to my compilation because it is a real world example of how music can touch a life when played in person.
3rd Video is a complete break down by Oliver Sacks, who is a well known author on the subject of music and medicine, speaks in this video about the effects of Music and Parkinson's Disease. This video is going to be helpful to use because it has a an in depth scientific approach on how even the thought of music can benefit a patient.
